The 30th Uchtspringer Heidelauf took place on Saturday, starting and finishing at the Heinz-Förster Sports Facility. The running event is part of the Elbe-Ohre Cup and was excellently organized by SV Medizin Uchtspringe in established cooperation with the Stendaler Laufgruppe Haeder and other partners. Approximately 170 participants took to the start line in cool temperatures on the two main courses of 6 km and 12 km. The challenging loop course ran through the Uchtspringer Forest, which was traversed one or two times depending on the distance. Before the main races, the traditional Bambini run for preschool children took place, with 36 girls and boys participating.
